Part 01 / 08

The truth — the real Fortnite Sprite community behind closed doors

Before anyone starts with the inevitable “why are you making an announcement about Fortnite drama?” comments, I’ll explain exactly why.

I’m doing this because I do not appreciate lies, rumours and half-stories being spread about me, Evan, Spritely or anybody else simply because of who they happen to know or what Discord server they happen to be staff in.

I didn’t wake up one morning and decide that Fortnite Sprite politics sounded like a productive use of my life.

This started because claims were being passed between communities, repeated as facts, and eventually attached to people who were not even involved in the original situations.

So if everyone wants to discuss what happens behind closed doors, fine. Let’s actually discuss it properly.

Do not go and harass anybody mentioned in this announcement.

I’m showing what has been said, what screenshots exist, what additional context has since been provided, and where something is still only an allegation. If something looks bad, I’ll say it looks bad. If something has additional context, I’ll include it. If something isn’t proven, I’m not pretending it is.

Apparently that standard is surprisingly difficult for parts of this community.

Why this is being posted

A private group chat was created involving myself (d. / Dion), Evan, Beksim and others. The original purpose was essentially to clear up rumours and try to stop everybody attacking each other.

Beksim came into the conversation explaining his side of his fallout with xtrapz and provided screenshots. When Evan realised that information he had previously repeated about Beksim may have been incorrect, Evan did something unbelievably complicated: He apologised.

“If those statements were not true then I apologise and said them while informed incorrectly.”

That is how this should work. You get shown evidence that contradicts something you were told? You correct yourself. Simple.

The problem came when we started discussing claims being spread about us and Spritely. Beksim explained that he did not trust Spritely partly because of things he had allegedly seen or heard involving xtrapz. One example was that xtrapz had supposedly claimed ownership of Spritely.

So I asked for the evidence. And asked again. And again.

Eventually the explanation was that the messages had apparently been shown during a video/screenshare and no screenshots had been taken. That does not automatically mean Beksim invented it. But it does mean that when the claim was challenged, there was no evidence available for us to actually inspect.

And that is the problem. Someone says something. Another person repeats it. A server owner hears it. Another server owner repeats it. Three Discord servers later it becomes: “Everybody knows this is true.”

No. That isn’t how evidence works.

Part 02 / 08

Being staff with somebody does not make you responsible for everything they do

Yes. Evan and I have been staff in the same community as xtrapz.

That does not mean:

  • xtrapz owns Spritely;
  • xtrapz controls Spritely;
  • xtrapz controls me;
  • xtrapz controls Evan;
  • every message xtrapz has ever sent represents us;
  • every accusation against xtrapz automatically becomes an accusation against Spritely.

Evan explained it perfectly:

“We're in his server, yes. We're staff, yes. We're affiliated, no.”

Being in the same Discord does not merge everybody into one person. If you have evidence against xtrapz, discuss xtrapz. If you have evidence against me, discuss me. If you have evidence against Evan, discuss Evan. If you believe Spritely itself is malicious, show evidence involving Spritely.

What I don’t accept is:

“I don’t trust Dion’s bot because somebody Dion knows allegedly did something.”

Especially when Beksim himself later said:

“Spritely looks great.”

So clearly the issue was association, not actual evidence of Spritely secretly running around nuking servers. Association is not evidence.

The ownership argument — earlier messages matter

A major part of the later dispute between Beksim and xtrapz involved ownership. The Formal Notice of Departure described an understanding that the project operated with equal ownership, equal responsibility and equal decision-making.

However, there is an earlier message that adds important context. At the time of the message, Beksim was already an owner. On 10 August 2026, he messaged xtrapz:

“if you ever want to pass the ownership im happy too”

He explained that it could make things easier because he was doing much of the day-to-day running of the server. But then he added:

“still would be yours at the end of the day if i decide to leave or whatever lol.”

That matters. This was not Beksim asking for an Owner role. He already had one. He was asking xtrapz to transfer the actual Discord server ownership/control to him. And in the same message, he acknowledged that if he later left, it would ultimately still be xtrapz’s.

Does that automatically mean Beksim and the other owners weren’t equal partners when it came to management? No. There is obviously a difference between being part of an ownership team and literally holding Discord’s server-owner position.

But it does show that the later ownership dispute is considerably more complicated than:

“xtrapz suddenly invented the idea that it was his server.”

The earlier messages show that even Beksim recognised a distinction between being a co-owner and who ultimately held the server itself.

Part 03 / 08

Now, xtrapz

Before anybody starts claiming this is just me defending xtrapz: It isn’t. There is evidence involving xtrapz that I would not defend.

One screenshot shows him saying:

“i’ll let you back into our server if you use my nukertool”

followed by:

“or just spam discord.gg/freesprites”

Taken completely by itself, that looks terrible. There is also a screenshot showing xtrapz sharing a GitHub page relating to Discord nuke bots. Posting a GitHub link alone proves practically nothing. The “nukertool” message, however, obviously deserved an explanation. And additional context has since been supplied.

The Relish / Sneaky situation and the context missing from the nuker screenshot

Further screenshots and a public X post show there was a completely separate dispute involving Relish, Sneaky, cryptocurrency and access to a Sprite.

One screenshot shows somebody saying:

“whoever sends 100 ltc (NOT $100) to this address first gets the sprite”

A Litecoin address was then posted. Five minutes later, the same account says:

“someone sent it. whoever it was, dm me”

alongside a screenshot showing a cryptocurrency wallet balance of $5,149.84.

Let me be extremely precise here. That screenshot directly shows somebody requesting 100 LTC in exchange for a Sprite. It also shows them later saying someone had sent it. It does not independently prove that the entire $5,149.84 balance came from Sprite sales. So I’m not going to claim somebody “stole $5,000” unless there is evidence directly proving that.

But cryptocurrency was absolutely being requested for Sprite access. That is not speculation.

The public X post

There is also a public post from @xtrapzbruv, dated 28 August 2026, directly calling out @Relishh_.

xtrapz wrote:

“you know i’ve canceled the last few scammers and wrong doings in the sprite community, here’s straight proof of you larping cm klombo for clout. let alone here’s some ss of your boy trying to sell it. ggs, well played.”

The post was reviewed directly on X. The visible replies showed xtrapz discussing the possibility that a skin-swapper-type tool had been used to make the Sprite appear in-game. When somebody asked whether that could be bannable, xtrapz replied:

“yes, i’m hoping epic games takes action on these individuals.”

The attached media appeared to show Fortnite gameplay containing green Sprite-like characters and an in-game label reading something similar to:

“CHEAT MASTER KLOMBO SPRITE”

That does not independently prove the footage was legitimate. It does prove the public callout existed. And it establishes that a separate dispute involving alleged fake Sprite footage and people allegedly attempting to sell Sprite access was happening.

It also confirms something else. The post ends: “ggs, well played.” According to xtrapz, this is wording he has previously used when publicly exposing/calling people out.

Part 04 / 08

So what about the nukertool screenshot?

A confidential source subsequently explained that the nukertool conversation related to the Relish/Sneaky dispute, not some secret plan to nuke Beksim’s server. The screenshots supplied by that source are consistent with there genuinely being a separate argument over alleged Sprite selling and cryptocurrency.

xtrapz says the idea behind his involvement was stopping people — particularly younger or inexperienced users — from losing money to people charging huge amounts for access to Sprites. He has also said that the Sprite involved was later leaked and distributed freely through his server. That final part is xtrapz’s account unless separate evidence independently confirms it.

And let me make something else clear: I am not saying that using a nuker or spamming somebody’s Discord is suddenly acceptable because you disagree with what they are doing. It isn’t. The wording was stupid. But context still matters.

There is a massive difference between presenting a screenshot as:

“proof xtrapz planned to nuke Beksim’s server”

and explaining:

“this screenshot appears to come from a separate dispute involving people allegedly requesting cryptocurrency for Sprite access.”

If you are going to use screenshots against somebody, include the context when it becomes available. That is exactly the standard I expect when screenshots involving me are being shared.

The later Beksim situation

There are later conversations where xtrapz is accused of planning raids, wanting spies inside Beksim’s server, or encouraging further attacks. In those later messages, xtrapz disputes that and says people who had left had approached him about spying and that he told them no.

Does that erase the earlier nukertool message? No. Does it mean every later claim about him plotting raids is automatically true? Also no. There is evidence worth criticising xtrapz for. There is also evidence of him rejecting later suggestions involving spying. Both things can be true at the same time.

The Beksim / xtrapz split

Beksim also provided the Formal Notice of Departure created when Beksim, SpookyFLS, The Sheeshgamer and multiple other staff members left Fortnite Sprite Info & Trading.

Their stated concerns included:

  • community management;
  • ownership and decision-making;
  • moderation;
  • giveaways;
  • repeated @everyone notifications;
  • member retention;
  • disagreement over equal ownership;
  • xtrapz describing the community as his server;
  • and concerns surrounding the relationship between the Fortnite community and xtrapz’s other projects.

Those are genuine disagreements. I am not pretending their whole fallout was invented. They clearly had significant management issues.

What I do find interesting is that the same departure notice also asked for privacy, professionalism and for the separation not to become a public dispute between communities. That would have been an excellent place for everybody to stop. Unfortunately this is Discord. So obviously nobody stopped.

Part 05 / 08

The giveaway issue — correction

There was also an allegation surrounding giveaways. Additional evidence shows SpookyFLS saying:

“Sent the $125”

The recipient then confirms receiving approximately 98.37 after deductions and thanks them. According to xtrapz, that screenshot relates to a giveaway payout. It does not relate to the separate Sprite-finder reward. Those two payments should not be mixed together.

xtrapz has also said that Spooky thanked him for clearing up misinformation surrounding the giveaway. I have additionally been told Spooky does not want to be dragged back into further server drama. Fair enough. His involvement in this announcement is therefore limited to the evidence necessary to explain what happened.

The Sprite finder reward — a separate payment

There was also a community-funded reward for locating a particular Sprite. The finder’s identity has deliberately been removed from anything public. I have been told that person has previously been doxxed and there is absolutely no reason to put them through that again.

The screenshots show an attempted payment being delayed because the recipient’s PayPal account was not yet able to accept money. The recipient explains that PayPal had asked them to verify their information and that they expected to be able to receive payments once that was resolved.

According to xtrapz, members of the community pooled money together as a reward for locating the Sprite. He also says the finder personally confirmed the PayPal verification issue and that the remaining payment was essentially waiting on PayPal’s side through Spooky.

So this needs to be corrected from how it may initially have appeared. This was not evidence of the finder selling Sprites. The available evidence is consistent with a community-funded finder reward, with payment delayed because of PayPal verification problems.

Quinn and “cashing in”

There are also messages involving Quinn and xtrapz. Quinn says:

“We could have cashed in”

and:

“We all agreed to do that Including yourself”

xtrapz replies:

“i dont want money tho”

So there were clearly discussions within the wider community about whether Sprite discoveries could be monetised. But in that particular conversation, xtrapz directly says he does not want the money.

Again: I’m not hiding evidence that makes xtrapz look bad. I’m also not ignoring evidence that makes an accusation against him weaker. That is called consistency.

Credit, recognition and clout

Then we have Kármá / itskarmalee. In one conversation Kármá describes himself as a distributor:

“I’m still a distributer in that server because majority of the people there count on me”

Another conversation involves somebody allegedly wanting a Sprite given to them first so they could distribute it to everybody else. xtrapz responds:

“she wants the fame” “she wants the clout”

Whether that accurately describes the person’s motivation is an opinion. But the wider behaviour is obvious. A ridiculous amount of this community seems obsessed with:

Who found it first? Who distributed it? Who gets the credit? Who gets the TikTok attention? Who gets recognised? Who gets the YouTubers involved?

Quinn even says:

“I got a bunch of YouTubers to vouch for me”

We are talking about Fortnite Sprites. Not the discovery of a new planet.

Part 06 / 08

Keeping things “hush”

Then we have Frosty - Owner telling xtrapz:

“delete your tweet if were keeping it hush?”

Does that prove an enormous secret conspiracy? No. What it proves is that there were conversations about keeping certain information quiet and controlling what was publicly posted. Which is particularly funny considering apparently every private Discord conversation in this community eventually becomes a screenshot anyway.

Nikō and public callouts

Then we move onto Nikō. One screenshot shows Nikō accusing somebody of selling Sprites and telling people to enter that person’s chat and post:

“L SCALPER JOIN discord.gg/spritesanctuary FOR FREE GUMMY SPRITES”

That screenshot proves Nikō made the accusation and encouraged people to enter somebody else’s chat while promoting Sprite Sanctuary. It does not, on its own, prove the person being targeted actually was selling Sprites. There is a difference. But encouraging people to pile into somebody else’s chat is hardly an attempt to reduce drama.

Nikō's other messages

Some other screenshots attributed to Nikō are considerably worse. There are screenshots showing racist and extremely abusive language coming from the account. I’m not repeating the wording here. The screenshots exist.

There are also messages saying:

“Let him crack”

and another asking somebody how many members it would take to:

“crack u”

I do not have enough surrounding context to definitively say what “crack” meant in every one of those conversations. So I’m not inventing an explanation. The wording is visible. People can read it themselves.

There is also a screenshot showing a server rule saying:

“no pinging @Niko (random ping=30 minute mute)”

I cannot tell you from that screenshot alone why that rule existed. Maybe there was a legitimate reason. Maybe it was a joke. Maybe it wasn’t. The screenshot shows the rule. That is where the claim ends.

Deleted messages and missing evidence

Things also became messy around Kármá. Vee says in one conversation that Kármá had apparently mentioned deleting something and that Vee did not have access to Kármá’s phone to verify what remained. Vee says:

“I tried all i could, but i dont have access to Karmas phone”

Kármá later says:

“When I get off work, I can go through the files and find the messages”

There is also a moderation log showing itskarmalee banning Beksim and spookyfls at the same time. Does that prove why they were banned? No. So I’m not claiming it does. It proves that the bans occurred. Nothing more.

Part 07 / 08

Serious allegations should not become Discord entertainment

There was also an extremely serious allegation circulated involving an underage person. I am deliberately not repeating it in detail. Why? Because the evidence supplied does not prove it.

Even Kármá, while relaying what somebody else allegedly said, explicitly wrote:

“I’m not saying it’s true”

That should have been the end of it. There is a gigantic difference between arguing over Fortnite Sprites and throwing around allegations that can seriously damage somebody’s real-world reputation. If you make claims that serious, have evidence. Do not treat it like server gossip.

The wider problem with this community

Put everything together and the issue becomes fairly obvious. This is a community where there have been screenshots showing or alleging:

  • community-funded rewards for locating Sprites;
  • people directly requesting cryptocurrency in exchange for Sprite access;
  • people discussing whether discoveries could be monetised;
  • people offering skins in exchange for Sprites;
  • people describing themselves as distributors;
  • arguments over who deserves credit;
  • arguments over fame and clout;
  • creators and YouTubers being dragged into disputes;
  • people trying to keep discoveries quiet;
  • public callout campaigns;
  • abusive and racist messages;
  • arguments over nuking and server raids;
  • disputes over deleted messages;
  • ownership arguments;
  • bans and internal fallouts;
  • screenshots being passed between rival servers;
  • rumours being repeated without the original evidence;
  • and serious real-world allegations being thrown into exactly the same environment as arguments over digital Fortnite creatures.

And then everybody wonders why the community is permanently on fire.

Why I am actually posting this

I am not pretending I have never bad-mouthed anybody. I openly admitted that in the group chat. Evan acknowledged when information he had repeated appeared to be wrong and apologised.

I have openly included evidence that makes xtrapz look bad even though it would have been much easier to ignore it. I corrected the finder-reward context when more evidence was supplied. I separated the $125 giveaway from the finder reward when that distinction became clear. I added the Relish/Sneaky context to the nukertool screenshot when more evidence became available. I have also explicitly said where evidence does not prove somebody’s accusation.

That is the standard I expect from everybody else. If someone produces genuine evidence proving something in this announcement is factually wrong: I will correct it.

What I will not accept is:

“someone told me” “someone screenshared it once” “another owner said it” “everybody knows”

being treated as enough to damage my reputation, Evan’s reputation or Spritely’s reputation.

If you are going to make claims, back them up. It really is that simple.

Part 08 / 08

Finally

To finish this off: At the end of the day, Fortnite is a PvP game. Sprites are not part of your daily life. They are not a matter of national importance.

Nobody’s mortgage depends on who discovered a Gummy Sprite first. Nobody needs an emergency board meeting because somebody distributed Galaxy Demon before somebody else. Nobody needs to launch an investigation worthy of MI5 because somebody got credit on TikTok.

It genuinely is not that deep. If Fortnite Sprites were that deep, someone would probably be trying to get Donald Trump involved by now.

Play Fortnite. Have fun. Stop turning every Sprite discovery into a full-scale international incident.

Anyway, with that said, I’m off to play Minecraft — because I prefer Minecraft.

I do not want disturbed about this, that, who found the next Sprite, who deserves credit for it, who is distributing it, who has a bounty on it, who contacted three YouTubers about it, who has screenshots of somebody else’s screenshots, or whatever completely unnecessary drama happens next.

If somebody has genuine evidence correcting something I have said: Send it.

Otherwise: ggs, well played.

Enjoy Fortnite.

I’ll be placing blocks in peace.

Thanks,

Dion M — Spritely Owner
